Dazed and confused in intro
[edit]It seems strange to me that there's no mention of his authorship of Dazed and Confused in the intro. I'm going to insert it -- if you have any objections, please state them here. -- 01:05, 30 September 2009 (UTC)
I would like to mention that Jake Holmes song "Her song" became a major hit in the Netherlands. The translated song was entitled "Voor haar", en performed by Frans Halsema. It still is considered as one of the greatest Dutch "luisterliedjes". Unfortunately I don't think that anybody in the Netherlands is aware of the fact that Jake Holmes is the composer.

Reasons unclear?
[edit]Re: "For reasons that are not entirely clear, Page claimed sole songwriting credit for the song when it appeared on Led Zeppelin's debut album."
"For reasons not entirely clear" sounds to me like a fuzzy attempt to defend plagiarism, which is not to suggest we have to accuse Page of it: Let's stick to the facts and let the reader decide for himself. I'm removing the phrase, and since the phrase actually contains no information at all, I'm not removing any actual information. Here's a bit, by the way, from the Guardian about Page's response: "In 1990, Musician magazine quizzed Page on the subject, asking if Holmes was the original composer [of Dazed and Confused]. 'I don't know about all that,' Page replied. 'I'd rather not get into it because I don't know all the circumstances. What's he got – the riff or whatever? ... I haven't heard Jake Holmes so I don't know what it's all about anyway. Usually my riffs are pretty damn original.'"TheScotch (talk) 08:44, 11 June 2016 (UTC)
