Two things... is Jaleco highly active in the video game industry? The last games I remember them releasing were Lowrider and that Darius remake for the Game Boy Advance, and they both came out years ago! Also, is Blue Print Jaleco's game or Midway's? I've seen Blue Print with both the Jaleco and Midway brand names, leading me to believe that the US distribution rights to Blue Print were purchased by Bally/Midway back in 1982. --M.Neko 06:04, 30 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

As of 22 January 2006, the Jaleco's North American operation no longer seems to exist. www.jaleco.com is all but a dead url; there is only a frontpage and nothing else. I have no further information, but someone who can read Japanese might be able to offer some insight since www.jaleco.co.jp is still a fully functional site. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 138.89.7.77 (talkcontribs)

Fair use rationale for Image:Jalecologo.JPG

[edit]

Image:Jalecologo.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 09:49, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Avenging Spirit - who is Toku?

[edit]

The article currently has Avenging Spirit listed under the games that were only published by Jaleco. I recall that "Toku" appears in the game's credits as the alias of a developer. What evidence do we have that this person (or group?) was/was not part of the core Jaleco development staff? --SoledadKabocha (talk) 18:31, 17 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I just noticed that the same issue exists with the Big Striker entry. --SoledadKabocha (talk) 17:41, 19 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Further investigation has revealed that "Toku" is probably a member of CP.BRAiN, not Jaleco proper. Therefore, the article is technically correct in the "Published only" classification for that game, but it may need some clarification. --SoledadKabocha (talk) 20:37, 6 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
64th Street was also supposedly contracted to CP.BRAiN and should be moved to the "Published only" section. --SoledadKabocha (talk) 02:00, 9 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

At chapter "History" third paragraph

[edit]

About in the middle somewhere it says: "...Heavy company restructuring was performing, with Jaleco's arcade division and other non-profitable areas of the company shuttering while re....." . Is the word "performing" not grammatically incorrect, and should that not be:"performed"? Just thought i might bring it to who knows who's attention (not "who" like in the chinese (or japanese?) name "Who", but "who" like in the english term for "which (soever) person".
