Failed "good article" nomination[edit]

This article has failed its Good article nomination. This is how the article, as of August 10, 2021, compares against the six good article criteria:

1. Well written?: Several grammatical mistakes (e.g. "addressing to the village life and about rural womens and hardship of Farmars of the district"), sentence fragments, and other bits of awkward prose, with the use of informal terms such as "Till" and "big station".
2. Verifiable?: Most paragraphs are missing citations, as well as the Notable people list. The citations used include some rather outdated books and comparison data that is synthesized.
3. Broad in coverage?: The article is very short for a geographic area covering 4 million people. The Geography section only mentions rivers and climate, there is no coverage of culture beyond literature, and no economic data. The government system is also not covered at all.
4. Neutral point of view?: Reads a bit promotional, especially the Economy section.
5. Stable?: Pass Pass
6. Images?: Pass Pass

As this nomination is from a blocked user, I'm not expecting any immediate response but will leave these comments for anyone wishing to improve this article in the future. It clearly isn't fit for GA status without a major expansion, but isn't

When these issues are addressed, the article can be renominated. If you feel that this review is in error, feel free to have it reassessed. Thank you for your work so far.— SounderBruce 07:16, 10 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
