St. Joseph's of Pennsylvania

[edit]

I undid the changes that marked St. Joseph's University with St. Joseph's (PA) every time in this article. The location of St. Joe's is mentioned in the lead paragraph (..."representing St. Joseph's of Pennsylvania), and in any case, the link is pretty clear about which school it's talking about. Putting (PA) after every mention of the name just looks tacky, IMO, and is redundant. 140.247.15.184 (talk) 02:25, 30 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Nelson's Number

[edit]

Jameer Nelson will be wearing #14 on the Pelicans Sports Fan 24-7 (talk) 00:10, 24 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

This needs to be verifiable with a source.—Bagumba (talk) 00:53, 24 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Sports Fan 24-7: Regarding your revert to add back #14, understand that edits need to be verifiable, and not everyone is able able to "GO WATCH THE GAME RIGHT NOW". Vandals frequently change players to the wrong number (among other things), so people are wary when they see uncited number changes, even if they really are correct. A URL to an article, pictures tweet, etc. can be helpful to verify, and shouting is not necessary. I did find this picture of him wearing #14 in the last game. The question remains if it is temporary or permanent, since the Pelicans' website still lists him with #1.—Bagumba (talk) 12:11, 25 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
