Erroneous and doubtful text[edit]

I removed this: "He edited and translated of Francisco de Vitoria the "De Indis recenter inventis" and "De iure belli" (1917)." because it clearly isn't true: Scott was merely the series editor, contributing a couple of pages of preface, as can be seen from this online edition: [1].

Some preceding text in similar style, about Scott's special interest in the great 16th century Spanish law school, may therefore be wrong as well: or it may be right. Perhaps someone else can clear that up. Andrew Dalby 16:04, 27 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

For some reason Andrew Dalby didn't actually make this change, and it's gone unmade for nearly three years since he pointed out its necessity. So I just did. -- 76.15.239.115 (talk) 02:23, 17 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
