Senator for what, when and where?[edit]

Had James Clemens, Jr. really been Senator of the United States from Missouri, Biographical Directory of the United States Congress would have an entry for him. I have no doubt in my mind that the Portuguese author of the book that has been used as the source of Clemens having been a US Senator must simply have mistaken a state senator for a US senator. I can't do anything about this issue right now, since I don't know if he was a MO state senator or held a similar position in some other state. I hope somebody does some research on him and removes the claims of Clemens having been a member of the US Senate. 137.163.19.100 (talk) 10:48, 29 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
