As a former pupil of Abingdon School (until the early 60's)where Cobban was headmaster, I found the man to be a martinet and a bully whose principal amusement was to inflict corporal punishment upon defenseless young children 181.66.157.81 (talk) 23:05, 24 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
