Williams' Medal of Honor ribbons

[edit]

Relocated from the article:

    • The Medal of Honor should be shown, two stars up, three down. It appears inverted. And, it should also be displayed, alone, at the top of all other ribbons. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.61.44.112 (talkcontribs) 13:14, February 19, 2008

The photo is of Elliott before he received the Medal of Honor. The Medal Of Honor ribbon is not even shown. Not sure what you are looking at. Lawdog2705 (talk) 05:36, 29 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Award Arrangement

[edit]

I believe it to be customary for US Army and US Marine Corps to wear ribbons four-to-a-row as shown at the moment (not sure about other branches), but US Navy is three-to-a-row. I don't have time to rework it today, but should another editor see this they may want to do this. Weylin.piegorsch (talk) 15:37, 12 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

It's fixed now. Thornfield Hall (talk) 01:34, 22 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
