Notability

[edit]

The notability tag was added about four years ago. The article seems well-referenced now, and Dr. Gilligan is a well-published and respected academic in his field. Just in the last month I've heard him quoted in two separate radio interviews. What is the process for removing the tag? Do we just start a discussion here? --Bridgecross (talk) 15:01, 26 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

He seems to fit criterion 7 The person has made substantial impact outside academia in their academic capacity; for his work as Director in two mental facilities, demonstrating methods of reducing violence.

If Amy Webb can have an article (a marketing professional with scant contributions to human society), then certainly Dr. Gilligan is notable --Bridgecross (talk) 15:10, 26 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Reference

[edit]

Where is his reference related to this wiki? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.89.149.108 (talk) 05:08, 7 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It seems one of his students removed the original reference without replacing it with a new one, after confirming that he had moved to lecture at NYU. 4ndyD (talk) 00:22, 1 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
