According to the burial register at St Marys, Great Chart, Kent, Bishop James Goldwell is interred there. No date is evident. There are other Goldwells in the register, including William Goldwell buried 1485. Also included is the burial of Clare Goldwell, 70, wife of Bishop John Goldwell. She was buried 7/7/1608 and was the daughter of John Toke. Notes claim there was no issue of the marriage.
