The showman of Psychiatry[edit]

I think he must have lost the plot. Clearly not a Psychopath or Aspergers, more than likely Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Seems to love the limelight plus the money from his book sales. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Frank Hargrave (talkcontribs) 08:59, 4 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think you can say that he is not a psychopath. If you listen to his TED talk (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lOjykLQAdaE) you'll notice that he is morbidly obese, his verbal communication really isn't up to scratch as those of other doctors, and one really wonders... I think it's more like he wants the wide world to convince him that he isn't a psychopath. Because the whole idea of psychopathy is that they show exteriorly that they're OK people but they're really not... How do we really know what he's like? Therefore I think the comment about him NOT being a psychopath should be removed... only that he claimed that he isn't a psychopath 2001:8003:6A23:2C00:4DCD:6227:9443:6C3C (talk) 15:32, 28 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Slightly editorial comment for an objective reporting site, hmm? K. Weiser, Seattle, WA — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kikiriley1 (talkcontribs) 23:33, 21 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Interestingly, there is at least one TED talk by a true psychopath: https://www.science.org/content/blog-post/dark-side-wonderful-investment-story Frank Reynolds died in prison early this year after it was revealed that he had poisoned his wife to simulate organic brain disease as a ploy to gain early release. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.46.80.12 (talk) 23:19, 31 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Putin diagnosis[edit]

He has apparently done a remote psychiatric diagnosis of Vladimir Putin.[1] I have no idea whether this should be included. 2602:24A:DE47:B8E0:1B43:29FD:A863:33CA (talk) 22:28, 21 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
