Scope of WikiProject Crime and Criminal Biography[edit]
I wonder wonder why people think that a Law Enforcement Officer's biography is within the scope of WikiProject Crime and Criminal Biography. The purpose of the police and similar Law Enforcement agencies is to try and prevent crime, and then solve crime once it happens. Unless an article documents crime being committed by or against Law Enforcement officers, biographies and similar articles about Law Enforcement officers should be outside the scope of WikiProject Crime and Criminal Biography. Just because Law Enforcement officers solve crime does not mean their biographies should be included in the same WikiProject as the criminals they are investigating. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 11:24, 11 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
