Hagiographic tone

[edit]

The previous versions were totally inappropriate for wikipedia in their PR-like, hagiographic tone. The purpose of wikipedia is to present "just the facts" and not be a PR-organ for any individual, group, or object. It is also not the place for a laundry list of every place an artist has worked. All conductors guest-conduct somewhere, and a laundry list is meaningless, as well as a waste of wikipedia bandwidth and increased carbon footprint.
