Slave Ownership ?[edit]

My reading of the Legacies of British Slavery database is that his father owned slaves but he received compensation as a beneficiary of his late father's estates. This may in fact mean that he never owned any slaves. Clarification, redrafting, or more work needed on this section! 82.37.112.171 (talk) 13:38, 20 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
