Correction of DYK[edit]

The estimate number of 119 documented combatants actually included Hawaii-born Americans according to this [www.youtube.com/watch?v=RQ5XW3GMqzo video].--KAVEBEAR (talk) 10:40, 4 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Anachronism[edit]

Captain James Cook arrived in the Hawaiian islands in 1778. The year 1644 does not make sense. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hypersphere1953 (talkcontribs) 01:10, 24 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Where do you see the year 1644? Also James Cook is not even mentioned in this article. KAVEBEAR (talk) 02:14, 24 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Photo?[edit]

This article has pictures of the ship he sailed on and the headline of his obituary, but none of the person it's nominally about. What gives? If there is no known likeness, the article should say so, just as it says the location of his grave is unknown. --Piledhigheranddeeper (talk) 14:48, 25 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
