Move article to "Adjustable jam hitch"?[edit]

The original name for this article appears to come from a web source. This knot/hitch is covered several times in ABOK and is called either a "Jam hitch" or "Adjustable jam hitch". The name "Jamming hitch" is used for a different knot (#1991). Given this knot's relation to the taut-line hitch and the fact the name is only used for this knot, I propose this article be moved to Adjustable jam hitch. Any objections and/or other proposals? --Dfred (talk) 00:44, 23 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong illustration[edit]

I think that the picture illustrating this knot isn't right (the description is). The round turn should be made on the outside of the loop first then finished by a half hitch inside. Presently it looks like there is a single turn inside, finished by two half hitches outside... 182.232.59.1 (talk) 07:00, 29 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

This comment is correct. I will update this comment with links to photos from the Ashley Book of Knots to verify. Mkokidko (talk) 12:27, 18 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
