Changes

[edit]

This page is indeed not up to date and some links don't work.Probably I'm finished somewhere to the end of next week. I'm planning to make several changes to this page:

  • expand the career section
  • fix links and citations
  • add recent publications
  • add separate part on High-temperature superconductivity

Any comments or suggestions are welcome. User:BrainDad (talk) 14:25, 19 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Death

[edit]

The announcement of his death is currently present on the homepage (https://lorentz.leidenuniv.nl/) of the Lorentz Institute (the theoretical physics section of Leiden University). For now I have not found more suitable sites to use as a source (since the news will then be removed from there). Floydpig (talk) 21:12, 19 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

According to an edit in the German wikipedia, a death notice (including the full date 18 January 2024) appeared on Jan 20 in the NRC Handelsblad. I don't have access and can confirm it (there's no notice online as of today). --Qcomp (talk) 10:07, 21 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
