An encyclopedic article does not maintain a collection of external links (see WP:NOTDIRECTORY). It may be helpful to add suitable encyclopedic information to the article, with a reference (see WP:CITE), but an indiscriminate list of links is not helpful to Wikipedia. Accordingly, I have removed the following:

Press and Media References
"One Year as a Parliamentarian" - Latest Media References

01 June 2009 - June 2010

The above links are not compliant with the external links guideline. I will investigate the many remaining links and will probably remove more. Johnuniq (talk) 03:46, 27 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Removed references

[edit]

The following were formatted as references in the article, but were not used as references (see this old version). These do not appear to be helpful, and I have removed them per WP:EL. If encyclopedic information can be used from any of these, the information should be added to the article with the link used as a reference.

  1. Parliament of India
  2. Lok Sabha
  3. Lok Sabha
  4. [1]
  5. [2]
  6. BJP Candidate, Chitradurga PC, Karnataka State
  7. LinkedIn
  8. Janardhana Swamy at Wikia
  9. Support Janardhana Swamy for Member of Parliament
  10. List of Winning Candidates
  11. MP for harnessing solar power
  12. State-wise list of MPs
  13. Election Commission of India
  14. [3]
  15. [4]
  16. [5]
  17. [6]
  18. [7]
  19. [8]
  20. [9]
  21. [10]
  22. [11]
  23. [12]
  24. [13]
  25. [14]
  26. [15]
  27. [16]
  28. [17]
  29. [18]
  30. [19]
  31. United States Patent in the Name of Janardhana Swamy
  32. Janardhana Swamy offered prayers

There were 8 links included with the above that I thought might have value as references; they are not in those above, but are now in Janardhana Swamy#Miscellaneous pending further work. Johnuniq (talk) 04:45, 27 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
