Contested deletion

[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... This artist has exhibited in major galleries and has received substantial coverage in the arts community. --Dhodges (talk) 06:56, 21 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the extra assertion of notability in the article. That was just sufficient for me to decline the speedy deletion route. Please remember, though, that other deletion routes still exist. The article requires strengthening, with further notability asserted and verified. Fiddle Faddle 07:11, 21 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The article has been strengthened with a brief discussion of the work, a more complete list of collections and a list of honors and awards. The additions are supported with inline citations, from a variety of secondary sources. Please be specific if further work is required to satisfy notability concerns.
