Holidays and Observances

I removed this entry:

It doesn't have an article, and it doesn't appear to be listed under Japanese festivals. -- Jim Douglas 23:49, 17 September 2006 (UTC)

Removal of entries

In accordance with the guidelines, I've started weeding the Births and Deaths sections by removing entries for celebrities with 0-4 articles in other languages. Where possible, these have been transferred to the relevant Year in Topic articles. As well as making the lists more manageable, this will help with the globalization effort. Quis separabit? 21:20, 27 January 2016 (UTC)

Is this in mandated by the guidelines or is this just a personal effort of improving the page? Dorromikhal (talk) 10:41, 30 August 2019 (UTC)

Vandalism

The popup that appears when hovering over the name Enver Hoxha has been vandalized with a slogan that reads "Albania Strong!!!!" -- I'm just a general reader and don't know how to edit something like that. 2601:189:C380:9026:645F:5434:E61E:2372 (talk) 06:05, 6 January 2019 (UTC)

Nika Riots

The article says the nika riots was a conflict between racing teams. I’ve read “Belisarius: the last Roman general” and “Rome resurgent: war and empire in the age of Justinian” were they make it very clear that the riots became an organised revolt against emperor Justinian. The rioters even crowned a new emperor. Other sources like Oman’ “The dark ages” don’t call it a riot at all. It was in reality a politically driven revolt against the emperor, led by both major chariot racing teams. Dorromikhal (talk) 10:52, 30 August 2019 (UTC)

@Dorromikhal: its probably best to discuss this on the talk page of Nika Riots as this is the talk page for January 11. Willbb234Talk (please {{ping}} me in replies) 11:58, 30 August 2019 (UTC)

Why would I notify people of a mistake made on this page on the talk page of some entirely different page. Dorromikhal (talk) 12:13, 30 August 2019 (UTC)

The Nika riots page dos already state the goal to be overthrowing Justinian. Dorromikhal (talk) 12:15, 30 August 2019 (UTC)
