What is best article name?[edit]

This treaty is also known as the "Treaty of Chemulpo", but this may not be the best choice for the article name in our English-language Wikipedia.

In the current version of the article, a credible source is cited which verifies Treaty of Chemulpo as a good article name -- see Duus, Peter. (1995). The Abacus and the Sword: The Japanese Penetration of Korea, 1895-1910, p. 69., p. 69, at Google Books. In addition, the following Google search data is consistent with the shorthand treaty name mentioned in Duus' book.

The Korean-American Treaty of 1882 was also known as the Treaty of Chelumpo -- see Yŏng-ho Ch'oe et al. (2000).
