The new director of the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaii is Jacce Mikulanec.[1] Also, I messed this up when I originally wrote the article, but the "Okage Sama De" exhibition opened on January 7, 1995, not in 1994 (when the building was constructed). Please correct this. Thanks! Mcampany (talk) 02:46, 9 January 2019 (UTC)

The executive director of the JCCH has changed to Nate Gyotoku.[1] Please change the infobox accordingly. Thanks! Mcampany (talk) 02:53, 6 January 2021 (UTC)
- Hey Mcampany, any chance you have third-party source for Gyotoku's appointment? If not, this should be OK, but a non-primary source is preferred. Thanks! --FeldBum (talk) 14:44, 7 January 2021 (UTC)
- Hi FeldBum! Thanks for getting to this so quickly--I know the edit request backlog is huge. I wish I had a third-party source, but it doesn't look like any of the local papers are covering it like they did with Mikulanec's (previous ED's) appointment. I figure since this is a relatively uncontroversial update the press release should be okay. If it's not, it may make more sense to remove the "leader" parameter from the infobox altogether, to avoid sharing incorrect information. I'd prefer for the information to be updated, rather than deleted entirely, but since I have a pretty strong COI so I'd like to leave that up to you. Mcampany (talk) 19:41, 7 January 2021 (UTC)
- How about this, Mcampany: I'll make the change and you keep looking for a source? Maybe https://www.bizjournals.com/pacific/, who has covered previously movements at JCCH. I'm also going to change the infobox to list the position instead of saying "leader."
- BTW, I can't speak for everyone, but I always sort the Edit Request list by most recent and then look for interesting and sincere requests. --FeldBum (talk) 22:56, 7 January 2021 (UTC)
- FeldBum Great! I'll keep an eye out for a better source, and I'll let you know when one gets published. I think the changes to the infobox look great, and changing from "leader" to "Executive Director" is perfect. Thank you so much! Mcampany (talk) 23:36, 7 January 2021 (UTC)
