Please could Jason Orange's categorisation as a member of the Mormon religion be backed up by sourced information in the article body. SP-KP 13:33, 1 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

College Entry[edit]

Just sounds like a plug for the college, no real relevance..... —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 138.37.8.119 (talk) 14:15, 25 January 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Orphaned references in Jason Orange[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Jason Orange's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "aria":

  • From Patience (Take That song): Australian charts - ARIA Chartifacts
  • From Gary Barlow: Hung Medien. "australian-charts.com". australian-charts.com. Retrieved 2010-01-19.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 19:12, 30 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

First lead vocas?[edit]

Can this cover from the Nobody Else Tour be considered as his first time singing lead vocals? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.167.243.98 (talk) 06:38, 10 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Jason Orange: unauthorised personal details[edit]

A new editor had been repeatedly inserting details claiming they are Jason Orange's partner. I have removed the information several times but the editor keeps re-inserting the same information in various parts of the page. I have also sent the editor two requests on their talk page to either provide prove to back up their claims or desist from putting the disputed information on the page. I hope I have used the correct methods in dealing with this matter. Annabelle000 (talk) 17:13, 28 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Every editor has equal status on WP regardless of who the claim to be. Therefore no proof of anything is needed and editors may edit anonymously. It is in fact bad form to ask people about their personal ID on WP. Though I understand this was done innocently. Let me know if you have further questions. I've done some clean up to bring this article in line with WP policies and I have it on my watchlist. I look forward to working together to improve it with reliable sources and citations. Let me know if you have an questions or concerns or need help in any way. --KeithbobTalk 21:02, 29 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your help. I'm sorry I overstepped the mark. I was only concerned about the accuracy of the information posted, I understand that it would be unnecessary to know an editor's ID usually but as it was related to the subject of the biography, that was why I asked for verification. You are welcome. --KeithbobTalk 19:31, 4 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I have reduced the amount of Take That related detail and modified the descriptive language used. I hope that is ok. Is it possible to have a discography included to show Jason Orange's and the band's history? Annabelle000 (talk) 03:57, 5 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Good edits to remove the Take That info which was excessive and written like an advert. Take That has its own article and that's where that stuff belongs. And, yes I think a discography might be OK.--KeithbobTalk 15:00, 5 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. I noticed though that some of the new parts have been deleted. It makes the article far too bare and uninteresting to read. A person who would be likely to view that page would be very disappointed at the lack of any proper Take That references, as Jason Orange is a member and it is the biggest part of his career, therefore I think it should have some more information other than just acknowledging that he is part of the band.

Hope you don't mind me saying this, but it's not worth having a page for Jason Orange if most of the relevant information is removed. All the information is checkable. Take That have been so sucessful and been around for so long that there are countless, interviews in all media, as well as biographies and articles about the band and the individual members. Citations[edit]

As I'm new, I have no idea how to insert citations. Is there a page that explains it? I have read the page about citations and what they are but it doesn't appear to have any instructions as to how to actually use them? Thanks for any help. Annabelle000 (talk) 04:57, 5 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

See WP:CITE --KeithbobTalk 15:03, 5 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, but that was the page I looked at and it just says about what a citation is and the different types, Plus it's far too long to wade through all the details on there! I wanted a practical guide to inserting a citation into an article. Annabelle000 (talk) 03:27, 7 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please revert[edit]

Sorry guys, my bad. I tried to link Beautiful World to its corresponding article and accidentally deleted a citation. Could somebody reverse this as I don't know how to. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. RogueTrader101 08:20, 21 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Not active after 2012?[edit]

I don't want to remove this as it might well be true, but it's unsourced. Unless there is a source, all the article needs to say is that he left Take That in 2014. Jamieneedsakicking (talk) 12:18, 1 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
