simply "Torres"?[edit]

Pardon my ignorance, but is there a reason why he's referred to throughout the article as "Torres Félix"? Similarly, can "Ismael El Mayo Zambada" not simply be referred to as "El Mayo"? -- Ohc ¡digame! 04:42, 29 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Most Mexican sources describe Javier Torres Félix him as such, so I just went along with it too. As for Ismael Zambada, I like your suggestion. ComputerJA () 05:22, 29 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
    • Ok. thanks for your explanation. The reason I asked is that by convention, we usually refer to a subject repeatedly in the biography using their surname, and I never know what that is for a Hispanic. I guess as narcotics are usually family businesses, it could be easy to confuse one Felix with another or one Torres with another. Regards, -- Ohc ¡digame! 05:43, 29 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
