Does anyone have the name of the radio station he worked at in Charlotte, NC? BartonBelle 08:33, 11 June 2006 (UTC)

Proposed addition

I have been working with Mr. Thomas through OTRS. He recently updated his website to verify some facts about his work history. Here is a proposed draft including those changes. Please comment on which parts are/are not appropriate to use his personal website as a reference for. Thanks! Ocaasi t | c 13:45, 5 November 2012 (UTC)

Thomas won two Emmy Awards for his role as Jerry Gold on Murphy Brown, and was Eddie Lebec on Cheers. He starred in Married People and Love and War. He's been on Law and Order, and Cold Case. Thomas has acted in Mr Holland's Opus, A Smile Like Yours, and Santa Claus 2. He has also done theater acting at the Ensemble Studio, Playwrights Horizons, and the Atlantic Theater Company. Thomas hosts television shows (currently Ghost Stories and Mystery of the Museums on the Travel Channel) and has appeared as a guest on/with The Late Show with David Letterman, Larry King, Bill Maher, Jimmy Kimmel,The View, The Today Show, Fox and Friends, and others. Thomas writes plays and does improv comedy. Last, he has done radio including The Jay Thomas Morning Show, and a daytime show currently on SIRIUS XM Radio.[1]

Please have a look at WP:RS. The article would be better with good, solid, secondary sourcing. The guy's own website is a primary source, and not as good, because obviously he can say anything about himself on his own website and who knows if it's true? So if I were you, I'd go hunting for what other people are saying about him. Good luck. Qworty (talk) 22:02, 5 November 2012 (UTC)
