Srikanthdileep (talk) 06:38, 20 April 2011 (UTC)The notability tag is totally unneeded. It has been mentioned clearly in the article that the quotes are popular in "malayalam language" in Kerala, not in English. Provided in the article are the English translations of the dialgues. Jayan quotes existed long before "Chuck Norris facts" and it's a fact that can be easily proven. Just observe some of the individual posts in the dialogue forums, they are over 9 years old dating back to 2001-02, long before the first Chuck Norris fact emerged. Hence, just forget the merger into Norris facts page. Again Hackorama is an authentic website that acepted and encouraged people to post Jayan quotes, in the same way as chucknorris facts site.[reply]

None of the sources appear reliable, and the mere fact that another article uses one of them does not validate it as a provider of reliable material. Mephistophelian 13:59, 21 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Well, that seems a more justifiable argument. If you need more reasonable sources, I can provide a few from my personal collection. Below are scanned page copies of magazines in malayalam that discuss about the quotes and the actor's impersonation though in more of a critical manner. If you want these to be verified & translated in detail, you can use any of the malayalee administrators in here or any user from Kerala or even a friend of yours who is comfortable with malayalam language.

I have also now added those dated magazine titles in a Bibliography section. Again, though I agree that some of the citations I have referred in the article page may not have come from the most reliable sources, you can ofcourse verify the "date of existence" of Jayan quotes from any of the forum posts which are given in many of those sites. What does it mean if someone has mentioned a Jayan quote in a forum post as early as May 2001? It simply means the quotes existed "earlier", far earlier than Norris or Katarn factoids which came about in 2005. Besides, they follow a unque format when translated, which I beleve I have mentioned clearly (as far as I can) in the article. This again justifies the need for a seperate page. I cannot completely agree that some of the cited sources are unreliable. One of the youtube links actually come from an interview program (with the mimic artist mentioned in the article) by Kairali TV which is an authentic malayalam television channel. Another link to the impersonator performance come from a reality show known as Rasika Raja in Surya TV, another authentic television channel. There the impersonator artist starts his performance by mentioning Jayan quotes which is the actual reason, I cited that link. Again I don't blame you because what you are doing may be entirely right from your perspective.. It's the language barrier, I suppose.
