Activist status

[edit]

Jean-Pierre Hallet was born in what is now Rwanda, was educated in Belgium, then lived in the Congo (and modern Rwanda and Burundi) for many years, before eventually emigrating to the United States. However, even after emigration, he spent a large amount of his time in the Congo.

The majority of his human rights activism was almost solely on behalf of a single Congolese people, the Efe Pygmies of the Ituri Forest.

As such he is a Congo human rights activist.Plannedobesity (talk)

References

[edit]

The reference to the San Jose State University Course syllabus was removed by a user who claimed that the listing of the book Pygmy Kitabu was a mistake in the syllabus. Unless the user can prove that the listing was a mistake, she should not take action based on her unfounded assertion. The listing is in black and white on the syllabus.

Users can quibble about the validity of any reference, but that discussion should take place in this forum, not resolved by simple removal of both the text and the reference.Nutsheller (talk) 15:27, 14 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
