Socialite?!

[edit]

Well have you checked the meaning of socialite? I think Z. F. is more a party girl/society girl than a socialite (if some Germans read this, take Ms Elvers or Ms "Permanent-ex-ice-skating-starlet" Szewczenko for an example, both of which have never missed any celeb's party ever). Friske is and never was of the Four Hundred, nor is she of aristocratic origin. Can anyone really confirm the term "socialite" for her? -andy 78.51.104.41 (talk) 21:13, 24 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What should I do?

Don't panic; deletions can take a little longer at Commons than they do on Wikipedia. This gives you an opportunity to contest the deletion (although please review Commons guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to upload it to Wikipedia (Commons does not allow fair use)

Correct dates for Jeanna Friske's cancer and son's birth.

[edit]

Since one of the gods of Wikipedia seems intent on keeping wrong information on the article page, I'm posting the correct info here (and I hope it's not struck down...). Her cancer, birth of a son and death all occurred in 2015. The years 2013 & 2014 in the "Illness and death" section are wrong. Cristical (talk) 04:01, 10 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Please review the sources cited in the article. If her son had not been born until 2015, it would not have been possible for this to be posted in 2013 or this in 2014, which reports the 2013 birth. Her husband waited until 2014 to announce her 2013 cancer diagnosis to the public. General Ization Talk 14:56, 10 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
