Rewrite needed - stub in meantime - BLP, POV, NOT concerns[edit]

I spotted this blanking of the infobox, and given the past history of this article decided to look further. Why the infobox is removed again is a mystery.

This set of edits look like COI whitewashing. Adding the publicity piece as the very first ref is telling. I was going to restore the blanked info, but the sources are rather poor, as are most of the sources in the article.

Listing two venues for his writing is a NOT, POV, and BLP violation [1]. Wikipedia is not a resume or venue for publicity. --Ronz (talk) 18:13, 28 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I see the last AfD brought up the same concerns. While Halevy may be notable, this is not a venue for promoting him with sub-standard sources. --Ronz (talk) 18:18, 28 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You may be right and I wrong. I'm trying to fix this article but holy cow .. it is a walled garden of notability, there are not many independent sources. There are Press Releases (tons), his syndicated columns (many outlets), some articles by other journalists about him published in media outlets that he is connected with.. or sources that amount to interviews (ie. not reportage) as part of his syndicated work, or primary sources. I'm having trouble finding independent sources about him, of any depth. He is basically a media creation. The independent sourcing relates to controversies he has been involved with [2] but even that is a celebrity gossip source ("morning mix" column). It might make sense to TNT as you originally had and tag it with Notability and/or AfD. -- GreenC 17:14, 29 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much. --Ronz (talk) 19:20, 29 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
