Notability is lacking

Soooo . . . besides having famous relatives and a recognizable name, why is this person in Wikipedia?? She's been an actress in a bunch of essentially community theatre productions. Big whoop.71.126.150.116 (talk) 17:03, 5 July 2015 (UTC)

  • Well, she's a 'First Daughter' who is also an award-winning American stage and film actress: Barrymore Awards: Best Actress in a Musical (2009) for Forbidden Broadway's Greatest Hits,[1], and Best Supporting Actress in a Musical (2004) for The Wild Party.[2], and who has been nominated for Barrymore Awards for her work in Parade at the Arden Theatre, Show Boat at the Media Theatre, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, a very well-publicized and therefore popular stage play about Americana.
  • BTW, why are the articles about the Eisenhower children being hacked up these days - two in one weekend? Maybe the FEEL of 'notability' is partially 'generational' (or the LACK of the realization of notability is itself 'generational' among 'millennials'! MaynardClark (talk) 18:55, 5 July 2015 (UTC)
