Billboard[edit]

Although our article and some secondary sources refer to her as a "Billboard #1 artist" (or similar), I can find no support for this on her Billboard chart history:[1] — the closest being #2 for Then Sings My Soul. Some other numbers in the 'Discography' section are also conflicting with this source. — What to do?  ~Eric, aka:71.20.250.51 (talk) 05:30, 8 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The discography section, including the unsourced Billboard rankings, were added [2] by an IP editor who seems to be mostly concentrating his/her edits on Utah musicians, with a slight whiff of local promotion. Since they're unsupported and, as you have noted, in at least come cases actually false, they should be deleted, along with any factoids derived from them (like the "Billboard #1 artist").
Really, this article is a nest of unsourced promotional material, and probably should be cut down dramatically. TJRC (talk) 17:33, 8 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
