Infobox

[edit]

I think he should have the inactive NFL player infobox. At his porfile he is listed as All-Time Players. Rockyobody (talk) 02:26, 20 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Any player that doesn't play in the NFL for a season gets an All-Time listing on NFL.com. It has nothing to do with retirement.►Chris NelsonHolla! 02:31, 20 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Well this is the infobox he should have until we know he is playing again. He'll probably pull a Duce Staley and wait a few years before making it official. Rockyobody (talk) 02:47, 20 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
That's not the way it works. The infobox is for retired players, not players who just aren't signed. For example, Ty Law would have been in the All-Time Players until the Jets re-signed him. Doesn't mean we should have ever changed his infobox. NFL.com only has signed players as current players, because if they're free agents then they have no team to put them under. Thus they go to all-time. It's just not what the infobox is for and not how things are typically done on NFL articles.►Chris NelsonHolla! 02:50, 20 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
