This article reads like an advertisement for Jeremiah Weed in parts. --Piratejesus 19:17, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
- In parts? The entire thing reads like an advertisement. 71.115.89.70 (talk)
- Please by all means fix it if it does so. --Looper5920 19:19, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
- As it stands, the only way I could see to fix it would be to delete it. It reads like one big ad. It has little actual info, none of which is cited with the exception of one sketchy source. I don't have the heart to delete it, but it really needs to be redone.71.115.89.70 (talk)
- I've done a quick edit to tone it down. WilliamSommerwerck (talk) 08:15, 9 May 2011 (UTC)
Rubbish
[edit]GrandPa would have lived a lot longer if he hadn't got so much into the Jeremiah weed! 207.99.6.169 02:41, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
Airforce
[edit]As a journalist in 1995, a flew with an F15E flight from Seymour Johnson Air Force Base near Goldsboro, NC. It was a low-level night flight offering a breath taking view of the Hale-Bopp Comet above and a variety of targets for my infrared and sidward looking radar below. Fidding with the knobs, I zoomed in on the 16-inch gun turret USS North Carolina tied up in the Wilmington, NC harbor.
When we returned to base, the debriefing featured quantities of Jeremiah Weed, my first and last encounter with this burbon. (Patrick Sloyan) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.62.178.45 (talk) 22:59, 11 March 2009 (UTC)
I think the Airforce claim has no place in this article. The 'citation' above doesn't help. I was going to remove the claim but I restrained myself and decided to voice my objection here. --unsigned by 108.77.202.198 at 05:20, 7 June 2012
- Airforce people seem to disagree with your opinion. Judging from a description of the taste of the stuff, my guess is, that the Airforce might be the main reason why it is still being made at all.
- Read this account on how JW allegedly got into Airforce culture: https://sofrep.com/fightersweep/fighter-pilot-traditions-jeremiah-weed/

Deletion
[edit]This article was nominated for deletion on 16 October 2010 (UTC). The result of the discussion was no consensus. |
I'm surprised that this page hasn't been deleted. It is just a full-page advert for global booze giant diageo. There is little or no information here to justify an encyclopedic entry, just guff about it's promotion. This page really needs to be deleted. Twizzlemas (talk) 23:01, 2 January 2014 (UTC)
The Name is Misleading
[edit]It makes you think there is Marijuwana extract in it which it does not have. I wish there was such a drink. In Genesis it says that YEHOVAH God gave man all plants bearing seed as food and that includes Marijuwana. It should be leagal. 99.148.204.217 (talk) 02:47, 5 June 2011 (UTC)
