[edit]Jerry Haynes was born in 1939, not 1940 as the article says. I know, I am his brother, Robert.
Jerry's parents were the late Arthur and Georgia Haynes. The mayor of Vernon Texas declared Jerry Haymes Day every August 30th in Vernon Texas. Jerry also made his first stage debut as Rev. Oglethorpe in the broadway show "SMOKE ON THE MOUNTAIN" produced at the Pease River Playhouse in Goodlett, Texas.
Jerry currently resides in Longview, Texas and really enjoys hearing from old friends, people who need entertainment, and does take requests to speak to civic orgaanizations.
