Discussion of Deletion Proposal of 06-07-2015

[edit]

I believe this article conforms to the Wikipedia notability criterion:

"The person has made a widely recognized contribution that is part of the enduring historical record in his or her specific field."

The role of Jerry Leaf in bringing medical research methods and expertise into the practice of cryonics is commonly mentioned in written histories of cryonics. For example, the 1980 book, "Life Extension Revolution," now cited in the article, wrote, "Though cryonic suspension services are available in the San Francisco Bay area; the Detroit Michigan area; Indianapolis Indiana; and South Florida, none can rival the nine-member suspension team assembled by Jerry Leaf of CryoVita Laboratories in Fullerton (a suburb of Los Angeles)." Other editors have also recently added news media accounts documenting Leaf's major involvement in cryonics in the 1980s. Cryobiologist (talk) 06:43, 11 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If we can pump up the sourcing, then that would be excellent :-) - David Gerard (talk) 09:51, 11 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Death date

@Mill 1: The cited source [3] indicates July 10, and you didn't remove that reference, nor did you add a more reliable source to support your edit. WP:BURDEN is on you to add those sources. Elizium23 (talk) 20:11, 28 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
