pronounciation
[edit]The pronounciation of Jian'ou dialect is "Gṳ̿ing-é-uā" (/kuiŋ33 e54 ua44/, /e/ sounds a little like /ei/. see article zh:建瓯话 in zh wikipedia) instead of "Guin ei di". I don't know what the meaning of "Guin ei di", maybe you means "建瓯地" ("the place of Jian'ou").--122.90.88.217 (talk) 09:15, 9 February 2015 (UTC)
- You are totally wrong. the right one is "Guin ei di" instead of "Guin ei ua". Here is a sample text of Jian'ou dialect (from this website):
Jian'ou dialect | Mandarin Chinese | English translation |
---|---|---|
渠会话福州事(不会)? | 他会说福州话吗? | Can he speak Fuzhou dialect? |
We can see, 福州事(Jian'ou dialect)=福州话(mandarin)=Fuzhou dialect. So, "Jian'ou dialect" can be traslated as "建瓯事" in Jian'ou dialect."事" sound as "di44" in Jian'ou, so, "Guin ei di" is the correct ones.--El caballero de los Leones (talk) 03:21, 12 February 2015 (UTC)
