@Tobyjamesaus: I propose merging this page into Johnny Chester. The only source on this page is a book on Australian chart history, and Google isn't helping me to find anything else about them. It seems like this band was mainly relevant in the context of being Chester's backing band, and it would make more sense for that information to be on Chester's page if there's so little info about the band on its own. --HappyWithWhatYouHaveToBeHappyWith (talk) 22:54, 9 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@HappyWithWhatYouHaveToBeHappyWith:, Valid points indeed. I don't know anything about Jigsaw, although I had and have heard of Chester. Also, looking at the Kent Music Book, those three singles "(with Johnny Chester)" are not listed in the Jigsaw chart history; essentially they had 7 charting singles in the early 1970s. Yeah, I'm thinking we could just merge it into the Chester article by adding a few sentences like "His backing band was the Australian group 'Jigsaw', who went on to have a few hits of their own in the 70s" and maybe adding the hits chart from here into its own section there. --HappyWithWhatYouHaveToBeHappyWith (talk) 17:02, 11 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep The group are independently notable: they had four top 20 hit singles (including a number-one), without Chester. I've added content and references to demonstrate this. A single paragraph or so in Chester's article does not do justice to this group.shaidar cuebiyar (talk) 09:05, 20 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Thanks for adding sources and more detail! I think what you've added definitely justifies the band having its own page. Changing my vote to Keep. --HappyWithWhatYouHaveToBeHappyWith (talk) 17:29, 20 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
