Removal of the Boob Job

[edit]

Why was it removed? 96.251.83.205 (talk) 20:36, 8 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

MOst likely because it was unsourced. If you can provide a reliable source, feel free to add it in. See WP:PW/SG#Sources for a listing of reliable wrestling-related sources. ♥NiciVampireHeart11:33, 9 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

450 Spash aka High Noted

[edit]

When was this actually named on WWE television? I saw many matches with her and even though she doesn't use the move much, everytime she used it there wasnt a name given

It wasn't - Jillian named it in an interview with WWE magazine, where she also named her breast choking move the "Boob Job". - Alex —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.155.57.157 (talk) 20:57, 30 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

On-Screen Face?

[edit]

Jillian did not return as a Face, on screen. She returned to save her Survivor Series Team mate, Kelly Kelly. This was noticed as Beth Phoenix, who has also partnered with Victoria and faced off against Candice and Mickie James on several occasions, attacked Victoria also. So, I think that it should be changed/removed, as all she was doing was protecting a fellow Brand Member. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.132.217.46 (talk) 20:53, 20 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Isn't OVW Part of WWE

[edit]

Should the Ohio VAlley Wrestling Section be in the World Wrestling Entertainment Section? I would like a vote. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Wwe.fana (talkcontribs) 21:07, 21 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sidewalk Slam Cutter

[edit]

I have seen a move used by Jillian which I can only call "Sidewalk Slam Cutter". She lifts the opponent in a Sidewalk slam , but keeps lifting the opponent and flips them over into a "cutter style" move. Not sure if I should edit it into her moveset/the Cutter page yet. --Oxico (talk) 23:55, 2 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Jobber

[edit]

Should it be added that over the past year, Jillian has become RAW's Residential Diva Jobber? She has last every match she's had, bar a few tag matches. —Preceding unsigned comment added by JillianHallFan93 (talkcontribs) 20:29, 1 January 2009 (UTC) yes it should be mentioned. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 220.253.207.143 (talk) 08:33, 9 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Singing gimmick

[edit]

Reading through this article, I noted that Jillian's "singing poorly" gimmick was stuck in the middle of a paragraph in the Smackdown! section. Knowing that the "off-key singing" gimmick has become a part of Jillian's on-screen character, I wonder if it is appropriate to include this in a separate paragraph, briefly summarizing its backgroud and giving a couple of notable examples of songs she has performed using this gimmick? [[Briguy52748 (talk) 23:49, 7 January 2009 (UTC)]][reply]

Actually I think a list of her "parodied" songs that she has performed on television would be cool to see. She seems to keep up with the current hit songs, or the songs are topical with either the Raw Guest host or certain themes of the show, or current events. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 146.115.20.210 (talk) 21:26, 29 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Personal Life

[edit]

Should we include a bit about her personal life? all the other divas pages have em. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 220.253.196.26 (talk) 05:27, 5 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It needs to be reliable sourced. ♥NiciVampireHeart10:08, 5 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

GA Review

[edit]
This review is transcluded from Talk:Jillian Hall/GA1. The edit link for this section can be used to add comments to the review.

Overall this article is quite good, however I do have a couple things I'd like to see fixed.

I'll put this on hold, and will pass when the issue is fixed. Wizardman 15:31, 23 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"Solo"?

[edit]

It says that Jillian's Sitout Facebuster is named the.. "Solo"... When did Jillian ever name this move? As far as I am aware, this move has not been named by Jillian. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.13.14.183 (talk) 02:46, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. The name was added in yesterday, without a source, so I've removed it. ♥NiciVampireHeart13:47, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Full Nelson Bulldog

[edit]

Why has the Full Nelson Bulldog been removed from Jillian's finishers list? Jillian previously used this as a finisher, so therefore it should still be there, despite her not using the move anymore.

Most likely because it was unsourced. All information added to articles should be verifiable in reliable sources. If you can provide a reference for the move (see WP:PW/SG#Sources for a listing of reliable wrestling-related source) feel free to add it back. Thanks, ♥NiciVampireHeart09:31, 22 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

http://www.wwe.com/shows/raw/archive/08062007/

The match is mentioned there, and the video for the match is here;

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6JGRU36jy3U

And, to show it wasn't a 'one off' finish, Jillian also used it in a match against Maria on Sunday Night Heat;

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T9Vr0_mvvgU

I'm not sure how to editin the citation thing, though.. so if somebody could do that, if this information is valid enough.. thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.13.14.183 (talk) 00:49, 24 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately not. Youtube can't be used as a source as it illegally hosts copyrighted materials. However, I did a search for a recap of that episode of Raw and I was able to find a reliable source for the move - the Canadian Online Explorer. [1] Quote: "slaps a full nelson. Jillian combos into a front face buster" so I've added it to the article. Thanks, ♥NiciVampireHeart15:59, 24 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Nickname.

[edit]

I have noticed that everytime Jillian makes her way to the ring, Michael Cole calls her "The non-melodious, Jillian (Hall)". Should "The non-melodious" be added to her nickname section?86.13.14.183 (talk) 14:26, 19 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Marriage

[edit]

Don't suppose anyone would like to discuss it here instead of just reverting, huh?--SarekOfVulcan (talk) 19:32, 22 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes - please see my OTRS tag at the top of the page. This needs to be discussed and sourced properly; I have been in correspondence with Mike Farole, who has been attempting to correct the article itself, but has simply been reverted. Please consider carefully; he knows his own life better than we or the sources do. PeterSymonds (talk) 21:25, 2 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
(Note: Some of the issues above have already been fixed; I was paraphrasing the entire e-mail.)

Is the name Hall from her first marriage? I'm confused because wouldn't her name be Fletcher? Also, the second source (#87) doesn't link to anything but information on how to obtain a marriage license. Is this a mistake or did the page change? (MgTurtle (talk) 22:36, 7 October 2010 (UTC))[reply]

Still with the WWE?

[edit]

http://www.lordsofpain.net/news/wwe/Jillian_Hall_Still_with_WWE_Update_on_WWE_s_Creative_Team_Situaton_and_More.html

That website confirms that Jillian is still working in the WWE as the trainer for FCW, so should this be added into her profile, rather than saying she used to be a trainer, and is no longer with the company? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.12.129.183 (talk) 08:04, 27 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No. Lordsofpain is not a reliable source, which is required for that information to be included in the article. If you can produce a reliable source stating that (see WP:PW/SG#Sources for a listing of reliable wrestling-related sources), then we can add it. NiciVampireHeart 13:12, 27 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Singing Gimmick/Release.

[edit]

On her twitter, Jillian revealed that the singing gimmick was actually based on what she was like in the lockerroom, not as a joke on Brooke Hogan's singing. She also said that she had asked for her release.

http://twitter.com/Jillianhall1

(The one about singing is just a few tweets down)

Should they be added to the article? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.12.129.183 (talk) 09:04, 4 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

ALSO, in an interview with Diva-Dirt, Jillian said that the gimmick was her idea, because at a house show, she decided not to take her robe off, but to sing, and then a few weeks later she started the gimmick full time, and that it had NOTHING to do with Brooke Hogan, which the article states. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.12.129.183 (talk) 16:17, 23 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
