I'm just reading a lot of his book reviews and they are great. He is very left wing, of course, but (unlike some) he's got a lot of common sense, is fair, is great on literature - not only on the Beats or on proletarian writers. --Ralfdetlef (talk) 17:34, 25 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
