Wind in the Willows

[edit]

Wasn't he the train engineer in the 2006 Wind in the Willows film with Matt Lucas as Toad? 58.179.218.50 (talk) 09:17, 23 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This article could do with a rewrite

[edit]

Don't know about anyone else, but to me this article is horrible to read. The Acting Career section is little better than a wall of text and is more or less just a list of everything that he has appeared in (that might be the point but it certainly could do with a rewrite, perhaps split the section up a little as well). The other media section is pointless as it has only one line of text and this is dwarfed by the large acting career section above. Zeb 21:36, 7 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Nice of his agent to go to the effort, though. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.210.55.99 (talk) 16:41, 10 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Harrogate

[edit]

Harrogate before 1st April 1974 was part of the West Riding of Yorkshire. Some people wrongly believe that because it is in North Yorkshire now it must have been in the North Riding before April 1974. 'West Riding of Yorkshire' is correct. There are many examples of settlements which were in the West Riding which are now in North Yorkshire rather than West Yorkshire due mostly to the simple fact that West Yorkshire is nowhere near the area size of the West Riding which was easily the largest in area of the three ridings, West, East and North. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 143.159.128.106 (talk) 22:59, 22 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
