[edit]I think that the author of this article is really mistaken because the widest octave range some one has been able to get is about five. Not to mention that a six octave vocal range would allow him to sing as low as barry white.
- Wich he Actually can... you probably never heard what he's able to do. Also professional vocal coaches say that everyone can get to at least 4 octaves with a few months of training --85.179.63.244
Range is correct
[edit]His actual range is unknown, but I know for a fact that his range when he was a singer was about 6 octaves... consider that Adam Lopez has a range o 8 octaves
- On what references do you base this fact? SirWoland 07:05, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
- There are enough references, don't be such a lazy ass, look for them yourself. Because posting em here won't change anything. Because no one wants to believe it.--85.179.63.244 21:32, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
User Komodo123: Actually, his range could even be more than 6 octaves —Preceding unsigned comment added by Komodo123 (talk • contribs) 16:37, 3 November 2007 (UTC)
Discography
[edit]i have put up most of Jim Gillette's work, I don't know how to cite the official organ donor site as a source, but it is one of the first links on Google.com, so it shouldn't be difficult for someone who does. know how. the nitro discography is surely correct (it came from the Nitro page on Wikipedia) so I guess that we only need to put down his work with 'Tuff' and the discography will be pretty much complete, apart from a few obscure guest appearances that he made on other people's albums.
== Falsetto ==
found this at http://www.thevoiceconnection.com/jimgillette.html
"Jaime: I got in a fight in college over you. Someone said you were a sissy, you sang like a girl, and that it was falsetto. I pinned the guy’s head to the floor and made him say, “ I’m sorry, I was wrong. Jim Gillette is the greatest singer in the world and he doesn’t sing in falsetto. Please tell me I’m right. I don’t think you sing in falsetto. It’s too resonant. I truly believe that any note you can sing in falsetto you can sing in full voice.
Jim: I can sing notes in full voice that I can’t sing in falsetto. You were absolutely right when you pinned the guy’s head to the floor. I hope you hurt him. I sing in full voice, and believe me; my voice is as loud as anyone’s. I’ve blown up many speakers and I’m not ashamed to admit it. BTW – thanks for having my back! I hope I can do the same for you some day."#
so i will remove the falsetto tag at the bottom of the page - Jim sing's full voice.
Personality...
[edit]I'm not the biggest fan of glam...I actually despise it. I will however say that Jim is one of the most LOYAL and INSIGHTFUL people I have met. I started tattooing him in 2003 and it didn't take very log to befriend him. Slightly reserved,very direct,deep thinker,humbly arrogant(oxymoron, I know),very approachable and he doesn't let his erectile dysfunction get the best of him! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.142.97.119 (talk) 02:00, 16 September 2009 (UTC)
