Notability[edit]

If you want to discuss the notability of this subject, please do so here. Jim Roskind designed the QUIC protocol, which is rapidly replacing TCP as one of the backbone protocols of the internet. It's possible to object to my sourcing, or to how well the article shows off why Roskind is notable, but I think it's much harder to suggest he has done nothing noteworthy. -Benplowman (talk) 22:40, 21 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I edited it to make it look a little bit better, but I still think his bio does justify a full article, as even mentioned in one of the sources -- be as talented and exceptional as he may be as an individual. Many exceptional individual do not justify a full article. --16:16, 31 March 2023 (UTC)
Edit: my biggest problem with this article is that I just can't imagine ANYONE wanting or benefiting from reading it, other that the people who know him personally. --85.64.155.54 (talk) 16:21, 31 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
