[edit]

Just added Jimmy Ellis's bio. I think I seen an unfinished Bio before, but this one took me a couple days to research and to type. This is my opinion bio so far on Jimmy. --Halfshell (talk) 08:21, 20 October 2008 (UTC)Halfshell[reply]

The article was missing quite a bit of valuable information. Added childhood background. from [1] 65.60.218.68 (talk) 19:13, 23 October 2008 (UTC)Starky[reply]

Merge request

[edit]

There is an undated merge request concerning two articles on the same person. A search indicates that this title is more notable. It seems to me there really didn't need to be a merge request as a bold move would have been sufficient and the name could have been worked out. Since there is a merge request would someone weigh in on this? Otr500 (talk) 14:01, 6 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure how you call the Wikipedia people's attention to an article...this one sounds like a infomercial. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.56.29.201 (talk) 00:40, 14 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Tone

[edit]

This is a lovingly constructed piece about someone who ironically came into the music business in the shadow of a one-man kind instead of the other way around, was exploited by smarts in the business and struggled to define himself as an artist. I started to wikify it (copy edit) but fell down in the area of what's a quote and what is opinion/ even lifted. I leave it to more impassioned others. Murder

[edit]

Jimmy's murder is described as "during a robbery gone bad" in this article, however in the film "Orion: The Man Who Would be King", eye witnesses described the killer as entering the store shooting, there appears to have been no attempt by the robber to rob, but instead it appears he entered shooting first and asked questions later, therefore it is hard to have the act described as having gone wrong, as it appears to have gone exactly as the perpetrator expected. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.6.88.252 (talk) 13:19, 18 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
