Jimmy Murphy (footballer) → Jimmy Murphy (Welsh footballer) – there's another footballer at James Murphy (soccer); and as "soccer" and "footballer" have no difference for the readership, as some dialects of English use both soccer and footballer, the disambiguation doesn't disambiguate; the current title would redirect to the disambiguation page James Murphy -- 65.94.43.89 (talk) 04:52, 29 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  - British is a nationality. My point is that nationality is not a useful disambiguator when the person has played for/in different nations or has more than one nationality. DrKiernan (talk) 21:04, 30 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
    - In footballing terms, he's Welsh. And WikiProject Football never disambiguates by the countries the player was based in, nor does Murphy have more than one nationality. Oppose - whilst James is his real name, he is not known as James - he is known as Jimmy. And that is disambiguation enough (Mike Posner isn't Mike Posner (singer) and Andy Murray isn't Andy Murray (tennis player)). By the way, where players have played football means Sweet FA - nationality is always a VERY useful disambiguator regardless of the clubs they've played for.
