Talk:Jitegemee

I'd like to request the Jitegemee page not be deleted, though I'm fairly new to editing Wikipedia articles, so I'll happily take guidance from more senior editors.

A purely non-wikipedia related reason I'd like to see this page remain is that the kids of Jitegemee recently got online and I would like to be able to direct them to this page as part of their curriculum on how to do research online. They can be relied upon to update and link this article, I expect.

Speaking more to the point of Wikipedia, I think it's a chicken/egg issue. A page for Jitegemee may not be relevant to most people's searches, but I can easily imagine a page on, for instance Kenyan NGO's being a useful resource in line with Wikipedia's goals. I think it would be handy to be able to link that page to descriptions of the individual NGOs, for instance.

There is already a page about Machakos, and given the opportunity, this article could enrich that one.

Please advise about how to easily relate articles. Is there any protocol for geotagging or google-mapping geographically bounded entries so they can be automatically linked?

Thank you,

notability...

[edit]

Someone added a {{notability}} tag to this article early this year. I wish they had taken a moment to explain themselves. It seems to me that any international charities of this size would be notable.
