Inclusion of CODEL trip not notable[edit]

Inclusion of a CODEL trip is not notable and the addition to this article was poorly sourced with a single MSNBC blog source. It's not necessarily "controversial" or hypocritical, since many members of congress travel on official CODEL trips and bring spouses along. While it may be questioned by watchdog groups as whether or not taxpayer funds are being spent correctly on such trips, unless multiple reliable sources cover this CODEL or if specific allegations of are alleged or proven about the trip it cannot be included per WP:BIO.DCmacnut<> 02:30, 13 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Removed[edit]

Removed controversial section. Now there is a problem with the Section 2.1 but no Section 2.2. Unsure of how to correct this since the section begins with links to his particular committees. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jlricherson (talkcontribs) 16:58, 2 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A separate article on electoral history for a member of the H of R is overcoverage. Everything here could be included in a singly paragraph or table in the main article. DGG ( talk ) 00:28, 23 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I agree that there's no reason for the electoral history to be a separate article; however I'd favour copying it back here as-is rather than compressing it. – Arms & Hearts (talk) 20:07, 5 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
