Coachella[edit]

According to Billboard and Gaga's web site, the two concerts on Coachella are part of the Joanne World Tour. Biagio2103 (talk) 00:19, 3 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I think it is not part of the tour. I suggest we remove it from the article.
Look at what the visual director, Richy Jackson said to EW:
EW: The Joanne tour doesn’t technically start until August, but some people have called this the unofficial kickoff, though that’s not really the case, right? Will any of Coachella reflect the Joanne tour?
RJ: No. This is exclusively for Coachella. The Joanne world tour will be something entirely different.

I'm inclined to take out Coachella dates based on the first party information we are receiving, will wait for other editors. —IB [ Poke ] 03:53, 1 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, let's remove it. Separate entity. Snuggums (talk / edits) 04:15, 1 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format. jd22292 (Jalen D. Folf) (talk) 23:51, 9 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I'm pretty sure this is a request to add attendance totals to the tables, which would need to be cited. Snuggums (talk / edits) 23:52, 9 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Also note how he/she gave exact attendance values. Wonder if Gaga's management has someone creating this account. —IB [ Poke ] 06:03, 10 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The setlist[edit]

DanGaga (talk) 13:24, 9 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The setlist should be updated because she doesn't perform the act with Bloody Mary, Dancin' In Circles and Paparazzi during the shows at the stadiums

Find a source. You know the drill how this goes. —IB [ Poke ] 13:04, 8 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Concert synopsis[edit]

I have added a synopsis section on the page, complete with references. Please do edit it properly if you find any additive unnecessary words/phrases. And can you please add like 2 photos of her performing on the section so it looks better? Thanks.

Setlist (continued)[edit]

It seems like when she plays one particular city more than once, she only does "Bloody Mary", "Dancin' in Circles", and "Paparazzi" on the first night. I was in Philly last night for her second show in the city, and she did not perform these songs. The setlist for the first night states that she did perform them on the first night.[1][2] Maybe add a note that they are only performed on the first night in each city? Setlist.fm is apparently run by Live Nation. CB19 (talk) 21:35, 12 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Even if the setlist is inconsistent (for what it's worth, I attended the first show at Fenway Park and she didn't perform those three tracks then either), we really just need one general setlist to give viewers a sense of the show and have a note saying that it isn't necessarily supposed to represent all dates. No personal opinion on whether it's best to include the one with or without them, though. Snuggums (talk / edits) 21:38, 12 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Anybody can edit setlist.fm, that's not a reliable source. --Sricsi (talk) 08:48, 13 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Yoü and I in Nebraska[edit]

Gaga performed Yoü and I in the show of Nebraska https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wm--CTkZg28 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 186.107.7.169 (talk) 00:55, 9 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not so sure a one-show-only performance is worth including; let's wait and see if it's included in other concerts for the tour as well. Snuggums (talk / edits) 01:30, 9 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please write the revenue and attendance in the shows... (: --Itsnik14 (talk) 00:16, 8 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

What is deemed "reliable"[edit]

Any source that is from social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & YouTube) are not reliable sources. Yes, it's proof, but it's not reliable. Please help provide sources from news articles. Setlist.fm is also not reliable. Anyone can change information on that website as well. Musicpoplover12 (talk) 18:50, 22 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

There are actually certain circumstances where social media can be used per WP:TWITTER (namely for non-contentious claims from authoritative accounts where there's no reasonable doubt of authenticity), but its use should overall be limited and we should opt for other quality references when available.
