Birth date
[edit]Excuse me, the main text of this article mentions an earlier bate date than the table (1939 opposed to 1943). How come, and which one is right? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Steinbach (talk • contribs) 11:13, 23 October 2007 (UTC)
- Many thanks, Steinbach. Coincidentally, at the very same moment that you were reporting this discrepancy, I was correcting the birth date!Phase4 11:25, 23 October 2007 (UTC)
Involvement in son's criminal case
[edit]Why has mention of his alleged interference with his son Nyimpine's arrest warrant been removed from this article? This looks like deliberate censorship to me. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.44.180.119 (talk) 19:12, 23 October 2007 (UTC)
- Where is the chapter and verse for this serious allegation against Chissano?Phase4 20:18, 23 October 2007 (UTC)
- There are sveral references given in the article on Nyimpine Chissano. There may be some deleted from here. Parking text here that's unsourced and promotional
[edit]The following text, added by a new editor, is unsourced and promotional in tone. This section might be expanded by a couple sentences using the recent article in Psychology Today, but this addition seems over the top:
In 1992, Mozambique created the first in history Preventive Wings in the Military-the Unified Field Technology(TM and TM Sidhi) Quiet Impact Groups (*) in the military and police forces,to remove violence and poverty from the country using the only statistically field-tested violence removal technology, with the statistically predicted and guaranteed success of the result.

- I'll work on that. Thanks.-- — Keithbob • Talk • 23:16, 31 December 2012 (UTC)
- I've reorganized the article to be what I feel is a more balance presentation of his entire career. I've combine various sections which created POV and removed some off topic info. The bit about the Award is in the article but without the off topic details of the award and you are correct that the other content above is unsourced and promotional and doesn't belong in the article. I did add a few things from the Psych Today article to round out his Presidential history. Please check the article and make further edits and corrections as needed. Best, -- — Keithbob • Talk • 23:58, 31 December 2012 (UTC)
