Doesn't that violate NPOV and shouldn't it be expanded to show that he gave to children and all that jazz?

Possible sabotauge of last paragraph

[edit]

Both spouses are buried in the same plot at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Glendale, California(Home of Comedy III Productions)?

Is the phrase in parenthesis in any way accurate, or did somebody put that in their in a bizarre attempt at comedy? I'm not sure if it should be deleted or not, but somebody should investigate this further, as it just doesn't look right. Ken Burch 11:40, 27 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

aerogel discovery

[edit]
Re: "Besser is the great uncle of Christopher Palid, CFO of Motts and one of the discoverers of aerogel."
Not to nit-pick,but wouldn't it be better to say that he helped invent aaerogel (if that's the case)? When one "discovers" something it sort of impies that it was already in existence and someone found it.76.166.245.241 (talk) 15:38, 16 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Joe Besser: selected filmography

[edit]

Of the ten films listed under 'Joe Besser with Hawthorne short subject series' only four titles are confirmed by IMDb as having both Joe Besser and Jim Hawthorne in the cast. There is also no indication that these four films constitute an official series nor any verification on the page. Unless anybody can verify that the series existed in an official form, would it be acceptable to remove the series title and combine the film titles with others under 'short subjects'? I can't supply the exact year, so I'm not adding it to the list of television credits.Sometime in the middle to late 1960's,Besser made a quick cameo on the ABC-TV(7) variety hour THE HOLLYWOOD PALACE.

There was a comedy sketch about hijacking a plane to Sydney. Besser is discovered hiding in the washroom and somebody asks who he is and he replies "I'm Sidney!". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.23.5.35 (talk) 18:25, 16 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
