Untitled[edit]

For a Grammy Award winner, multiple gold disc recipient, triple number one artist, with singing, songwriting and production credits, on top of multiple hit records, Simon's present article is extremely small scale. I have added a modest amount, but compared to many artists with far less achievements, I wonder if he is simply not 'well-loved'. Oh well - over to you please.

"Drowning In The Sea Of Love" by Joe Simon[edit]

It appears to me that every reference that I find for "Drowning In The Sea Of Love" by Joe Simon gives the release date as 1972, except for Wikipedia, which lists it as one of the "Biggest hit singles" of 1971. Unless someone can find documentation otherwise, I believe that this song was released in 1972, and was one of the biggest hit singles of 1972. Any comments from anyone? No. Recorded and released in 1971. See [1]
